I had the privilege to work with Suzanna in Spring 2010 in the opera scenes at Holy Names University where she was stage director. Suzanna is so wonderful to work with. She is patient and so knowledgeable about different aspects of the theatre, such as stage movement and creating a character that's believable. I have been studying voice privately for over 10 years and still find myself learning more about the art of singing every time I work with Suzanna. Whether you are a beginner new to singing or an advanced singer, I highly recommend Suzanna.

Suzanna Mizell was the stage director for my Opera Scenes class at HNU. This was my first experience with Opera. The scene was the Adina/Dulcamara duet from Elixir of Love. Judging by the comments I received from audience members after the show, she did a good job with me. People said I was completely into the role. Dr Dulcamara is about as far from my personality as you can get, and it was Suzanna's encouragement that got me all the way over there from here. She really gave me a good grip on the character, and that particular style of Opera.
