Awesome Attorney! I can't express how happy I am with Jimmy's representation. He kept me well informed and was very quick to return calls and address concerns or questions regarding my case. He was very assertive in the court room. My 3rd d.u.i and no jail time. The judge Even said, " I've never seen a person get a deal like this. You have a very good attorney who really went to bat for you. "
    Thanks Jimmy...

Great Lawyer! Although there are many lawyers out there, very few will actually get you results. Throughout the whole process he kept me informed of my situation and what I was up against. My biggest pet peeve is when people don't return my calls, however, Mr. Cha either always answered his phone or he called me back the same day. What I look for in a good lawyer is: communication & results. If you're facing any legal issues go with Jimmy Cha FOR THE WIN!

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Make sure the attorney you are talking to is easy to get a hold of. Talk to them, see if it seems like they are trying to rush you and just take your money. Remember, if you cannot trust your attorney, no matter what he does for you, you'll never be satisfied. Ask what the attorney's legal background is and make sure he/she exclusively practices criminal defense.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. When clients see attorneys in court, they only see us in front of the judge for a few minutes and think that's all we do. In reality, most attorneys work very long hours prepping, preparing, researching, and looking up cases at our office. When most people go home, most attorney's are still in their offices working.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. What type of law do you practice?
Do you exclusively practice criminal defense?
Have you handled this type of case before?
How long have you practiced criminal defense?
Are you part of any organization or group in the related field?
What is your legal experience?

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. To be honest, people should look to see what kind of attorney they want representing them. Do you want an attorney who's very aggressive or someone who's less aggressive but more passionate?

Also, attorney fees very from attorney to attorney. You get what you pay for so be realistic and ask yourself if you can afford to hire that attorney. I try to work with my clients as far as fees are concerned. The economy is hard on everyone so if you need a payment plan just talk to me, as I'm more than willing to work with you.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I enjoy helping people. Good people make mistakes too! And knowing that I'm out there helping others make me feel good. I've seen some of my younger clients change because of the work I do. That in itself is very gratifying and makes what I do worthwhile.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. Often times, clients see us in court in front of a judge for a short period of time and think that is all we do. What clients do not see is the other 90%. In our offices, we actually read police reports, look up case law, dissect and evaluate the case, write motions, and come up with a strategy on how to handle a particular case so we will be prepared when we walk into court.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. All attorneys must complete a certain amount of continuing legal education courses. I usually attend one or two DUI seminars a year, depending on how much DUI laws have changed, along with drug seminars, and any other seminars that I believe I need to educate myself on.
