Introduction: With all my experience as a teaching professional and performing artist I am able to give students a wide variety of musical styles to learn and develop their foundation to become a musician. I put emphasis on performing live with annual concerts I produce and direct to develop goals for my students. I also make sure students are having fun while learning how to play the piano. Seeing the satisfaction and feeling of accomplishment on a student's face while they are performing a piece of music that requires the hard work and preparation that goes into the musical work when preparing it. Whether a student is playing something for the first time or perfecting a piece of music for a performance it's the feeling of accomplishment they get helps me enjoy the work I do.

Dennis is a true professional and a master at his craft. He has taught our two sons piano for three years now and they still enjoy going to his class. Our family schedule is very difficult and Dennis goes beyond the call of duty to accommodate us. Perhaps the qualities I like most about him are his ability to be patient with our kids and in keeping the lessons fun for them so they want to go back each week. Also important to our children are the concerts which they have an opportunity to perform in, they really enjoy getting up in front of a crowd and showing their stuff. I believe this is imperative for young artists to boost their confidence and again Dennis makes this possible. If you're interested in actually learning to play or sing better, then Dennis is your guy!

I've been taking voice lessons from Dennis for almost two years and the improvement I've seen during that time is incredible. He has more than doubled my range and probably quadrupled my confidence. He really focuses on technique, like proper breathing and placement, so you learn good habits that you can rely on. He explains and demonstrates everything in a way that makes these abstract sounding concepts very concrete and understandable. I've performed in musicals before, and I always had to rely on my acting to cover up the fact that my voice wasn't very good. Now I feel like I have a voice that speaks for itself. I'm so lucky to have found Dennis. I couldn't ask for a better teacher.

At age 10, I initially started with vocal lessons where Dennis brought the fullness out of my voice to where I could sing any type of music. Dennis also worked patiently thru my voice changes as I grew older. I added piano to accompany my vocal pieces where I received theory, sight reading and instructed the way I learned piano. I have been with Dennis for 4 years and I can play any type of intricate & challenging music pieces: jazz / classical / modern / rock. I have a wide variety of music and vocals that I am proud to present at auditions and live performances. Dennis teaches to each individual's learning abilities. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing plans is as follows. Piano and voice lessons are $60.00 per hour. I require a monthly tuition. for a 4 week month $240.00 5 week month is $300.00 I also have a bi-weekly tuition (every other week) $120.00 for a 4 week month and $180 for a 5 week month. I also teach 30 minutes for children beginners. The tuition is $120.00 for a 4 week month
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I invite first time students to come and take an introductory lesson to see if they are comfortable with my teaching style before having them commit to a monthly tuition. I get a thorough understanding of their aspirations and goals and decide on what direction they would like to go in musically.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Piano performance from the William Paterson University and Manhattan School of Music. I am a member of the Piano Teachers Society of America and The Music Teachers Association of California.
