About
I do hair! I was born to create! Before becoming a hair stylist/colorist, I was a professional black and white portraitist in Los Angeles for 12 years. After moving to the Bay Area, I continued my love for creating by designing interiors and sharing my vision in a home design/accessory store (Tribeca Home) on Burlingame area for over 13 years! I have always loved doing hair and styling, so it was a natural evolution for me to enroll at San Francisco Institute of Esthetics and Cosmetology (a Paul Mitchell School) to see just where I could take my passion! I haven't been disappointed! I couldn't decide between cut and color, as I love doing both, so I offer personalized organic color/highlighting/balayage, cutting (truly enjoy men's cuts), Brazilian blow-out (organic), fun and sophisticated updos, as well as makeup and wig styling. I am a cancer survivor and also love to share with women and men who are going through treatment tricks to look and feel better. The biggest compliment I can receive is that I truly listen to my clients' needs. I do care.

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

It is important for a client to have as clear of an idea as possible for what they are looking to achieve. Whether it is a certain color, or an exciting new cut. If possible, get a consultation with the stylist before anything is done. Do you feel the stylist is really listening to what YOU want? Does he/she have examples of their work so you can see? If the stylist/colorist has an ego the size of Texas and only wants to do what they feel like doing - run, don't walk - out the door! It should be a collaboration of you and the stylist! Just because pink hair is the latest trend -- it doesn't mean it's the right color for you! A good consultation should include questions about your lifestyle, past haircuts, what you like and what you didn't like, etc. Your experience should be personalized to YOU.
