I am available by appointment only. The following services are available: 1) Massage Therapy (in-home sessions for both day and evening hours) -- I am now bringing my expertise conveniently to you. Introductory specials are available. I am California state certified to practice massage and am a member of Associated and Bodywork and Massage Professionals Association. I have over 34 years of experience and integrate deep tissue as need for no additional cost. Clients not only enjoy their sessions, but also love how they really get results which improve their quality of life. 2.) Personal Trainer (in home/office/outside) -- Partner Training Specialty (Partner is added for FREE! - so can Share the Cost!) ------I am able to give each of you all the attention you need to succeed at a lower price for a quality trainer by sharing the cost. I am a certified fitness trainer over 9 1/2 years by International Sports Science Association (ISSA). Only $10 each trainee for a consult and sample hour training session is available, plus great package deals to get you started. Sign after the sample and the $10 is credited to your new package so your sample is Free. First package you also get a Free hour for assessments and re-assessments - Free hour every 24 sessions. We make the most of our training time with HIIT circuits, supersetting, interval metabolic resistance training, etc. to build muscle and stamina, while we blast away the fat and sculpt our body. While we increase our strength we also increase our flexibility and make sure our form is good for safety and great results.We use both our bodyweight and all kinds of equipment. Examples are dumbbells, kettle bell, medicine balls, resistance bands, stability ball, Bosu ball, agility ladders, battle rope etc. Plus, guidance extends to help on what to do during other days to keep your workouts and nutrition balanced and beneficial to your progress. Lose the fat and gain lean, defined muscle while including partner motivation! 3.) Small Group Fitness Training -- only 4 to 6 trainees for lots of personal attention in a friend/family private group training called "Better Butts and Bellies". This is full body training using body weight, medicine balls, bands, and more just like stated above, with high-intensity, high motivation and high results. Modifications are given to fit any fitness level. Same pricing specials as stated above. (Or I also have a series I am giving for up to 6 people at a Rec. Ctr. T/TH 9am-10:15 for 10 sessions, and the next series begins 10/10) 4.) Another series, "Hot Yet Cool" Dancing - Class series given at Rec. Ctr. Mon. 7pm - started 9/9 but can still join to start on 9/16..... or may also be included in partner or small group training if desire. (The dancing routines are R&B/Hip Hop and Salsa, and we always heat up with a Tabata interval prior.) 5.) Nutrition and Weight Management (included with some above training to different degrees depending how long you train for) -- a balanced approach to help you achieve and maintain your weight and health. 6.) Supplements -- this includes quality/discounted items that are mostly sold only by health practitioners. Consultations are available. Find the supplements that work for you. Certain areas need a little additional help to boost our health. Every individual is unique, and your health program needs to be designed specially for you, whether you choose one service or all. I am not only skilled and certified, but I am also passionate about what I do and want to help you succeed in being healthier and fit. Our bodies depend on us. I really enjoyed having Sandy--owner of HEALTHROUTES--as my personal trainer. The training was challenging but worth it! When learning new exercises I can be hard on myself but Sandy motivated me to succeed while having fun. I loved how she emphasized reducing and strengthening my core, because like many my stomach has always been an issue for me. However, she improved my other areas as well. Sandy makes sure my form is excellent and saves enough time to stretch after to avoid injury and get the most from my training. Besides achieving a toned body I like how she likes to raise her clients stamina which helps me stay physically active in other areas of my life. Though serious about creating great training sessions which addressed my goals, she could be very funny. Sandy has helped me feel healthier and more confident in my body. I highly recommend you choose Sandy (HEALTHROUTES) as your personal trainer.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    I have a regular price for massage but the personal training depends on package choice (beginning choices are 6-12-24) and if you train as partners (Partner added for free or shares cost) or less each with small group of 4-6. There are special intro offers for all services, plus a discount for cash payment. With the freebies and specials it can vary from $32 each partner to $48 each partner (double if paying solo) - again depending on specials running and package size and credit card vs cash discount, and bonus session for achieving goals after certain time. Honestly, all modesty put aside for my level of skill I am quite reasonable in my pricing and a great deal for what you receive. I do this because I want to be able to reach out to the wide diversity in need of my health services.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    First we talk briefly on phone and then I come to you for consult and sample training. We will do an intake to know what are your goals, past experience and determination, and any physical issues for training. We then do an hour training for only $10 which is returned when buy pkg. of 6-12- or 24 directly after so your sample training is then FREE. Next we do assessments with measurements, physical abilities check, and nutritional intake to have a baseline - also FREE added session. I will create a training program unique to you (and your partner or others in small group) which we will tweak along the way to continue with successful results and changing short term goals as we reach the one prior. We find out what you like and what is a challenge and I will analyze and present ways to train to make your successes keep coming. I help my clients up their game and work hard, but get them excited about feeling their progress and we have fun in the process. I respect my clients' time and show up promptly and utilize the hour efficiently. I also help with motivation and what can add between sessions for even faster results. You will feel confident you have the support, knowledge and action to go for it + make it happen.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I have been physically active my whole life since I was very young - gymnastics, karate, resistance training in and out of gym, hiking/jogging, dancing etc. As stated prior I am a certified fitness trainer as well as certified in massage for CA. I trained in a combination of Shiatsu, Swedish, Reflexology, Polarity and Deep Tissue which I integrate in 90 minute sessions. I went to college at age 16 and graduated in Psychology. I learned how to go for it at a young age and learned how important it is to combine the mental, physical and emotional spirit to keep achieving your goals.
