Eddy is very enthusiastic and resourceful, he's only a little way into our giant project, a play called "Klara Zamenhof", so far but we are all delighted to have him on board.
The rest of our team are based in Australia, mostly Sydney, but this has not been a problem for communicating with Eddy.– Penny
Question and answer
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Consider provider's experience: number of years in business, previous projects and how they're related to your own, level and amount of information technology tools that the provider can make good use of.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Samples of previous projects are always a good source of knowledge for first customer/provider contacts.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. How many years have you been in this business? How much time a day/week/month are you available for our projects? Can you show us some samples of previous projects you've contributed to?
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I like to work around my customer's ideas, suggesting my own, and considering my job finished until my customer is happy with my results.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I've loved writing ever since I was a little kid, so it's a great joy for me to be able to do what I love and get paid for it.
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. Of course I do. Offering IT services without taking continuing education seriously could be risky. I must do my homework well, before a customer asks a tech question about new trends in technology I might not be aware of.
