- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of the walk in customers at rock city studios are parents with children between 7-15 years old with little to no experience that want to start learning drum set. in these situations we go over a broad overview of the drum set and focus on the basic fundamentals to help achieve the necessary skills to hold down a beat and carry a tune. I'd say 30% of the rest of my clients are adults between 17 and 50 yrs old, male and female, that have already been playing drums for a number of years and are now looking to expand their skills on the instrument . In these instances we focus more on technique, coordination, reading , rudimental applications, various styles and time signatures, etc..
