Introduction: The Law Office of Roy W. Litherland has been providing quality estate planning documents in the Greater Bay Area since 1975. Our office has been able to reach thousands of people who are concerned about protecting their families from the devastating legal effects of disability and death. With the aid of public seminars, educational presentations, articles, interviews and television appearances, the Law Office of Roy W. Litherland has championed the use of revocable living trusts as a proven way to protect families from the expense and delay of probate, to minimize or eliminate federal estate taxes, and to avoid the Medi-Cal Recovery Lien. The Law Office of Roy W. Litherland is a member and designated Fellow of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys, a national membership organization committed to assisting attorneys in providing quality estate planning services to their clients. They are also members of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, a membership organization comprised of attorneys in the private and public sectors who deal with legal issues affecting the elderly and disabled, and the California Advocates for Nursing Home Reform. Our team of qualified and experienced individuals, many of whom have been with our firm for over 10 years, are trained in the complex areas of estate planning, trusts, probate, Medi-Cal, special needs planning, tax law and geriatric care management. The aim of all members of the law firm is to help you accomplish your estate planning goals and to take the mystery out of the planning process. Our knowledgeable team has helped people just like you ease the burden on family members left behind. If you take advantage of these services today, your loved ones will be relieved of needless attorney's fees and government interference in settling your estate. You will also have documents in place to assure that your financial and health care decisions are made in a manner you see fit should you become incapacitated. But more importantly, you'll have peace of mind knowing that your loved ones are protected. Helping people to preserve their estates for generations to come
