Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. "Communication is king..."

Let your graphic designer know what you are looking for as clearly as you can in your initial consultation, and as drafts are sent your way don't delay in sending clear communications back about them. This will only help in keeping your design on track and on schedule.

If there is something that is absolutely not going to work for you, let them know right away so that they are not barking up the wrong tree. Once things are moving in the right direction - trust your designer to do his job for you. Give them some creative breathing room to make suggestions and additions that you may not have considered. Their creative ideas and experience will usually lead to surprisingly positive results.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. "There is more than one way to get there..."

There are several wonderful professional design programs out there. So, don't assume that your favorite design software is superior at everything. It simply is not. There are many ways to get to where you are going and it is the final output that matters most.

It is helpful to have proficiency with many design programs. Being well rounded in this way will speed up your work and help you to see it from several angles. Not only does this free you up creatively, but it also saves you time and money in the long run.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I am a creative designer with a strong background in design for printing as well as the web. So if you are having challenges setting up your images for print production - I can help to make that translation for you. There are many differences between these worlds and I can be your guide. Whether you need some assistance with preparing your own work or are looking for a one stop designer - I can fill your needs confidently.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love working with people to develop a concept into a vision and then into something concrete. I enjoy the creative process, as well as the inevitable "aha!" moments that come when working on something new. I also enjoy solving problems and helping to assist small business owners with getting their ideas off of the ground. There are so many genius minds out there and it is inspiring to work with them.
