Introduction: What I do:
When I mention I can build anything you can dream up, lets just say, I have yet to meet a project I couldnt eventually figure out.
How I work:
It can be really fun to translate a concept into three-dimensional reality. Perhaps its the chest youd like to have to protect grandmas china; the sculpture that really needs a nice pedestal; the staircase youd like to update; or the new appliances youd like to install on your boat. Use your imagination.
How do I know Ill get what I truly want when I might not be sure myself?
How much will it cost?
How long will it take to build?
What about incorporating glass, metal and stone? Lighting? Mechanical devices?
Getting started:
During our initial consultation, well discuss the function and style of the project. Its very helpful if you have sketches or photos of what you envision. Even if its a photo of something entirely unrelated, you might like the style of the piece or some detail, or perhaps just the color.
Everything I do is subject to your prior approval. Depending on the complexity of what you have in mind, I start by sketching and then drawing it, perhaps even building a mock-up or two until we get it right.
Along the way, we choose materials and finishes. Once we both understand the scope of the project, we agree on a cost proposal.
You can start the process by collecting some photos and just thinking about why you respond to a particular style or color. Ill take it from there.
I am looking forward to meeting with you.
