My fiancé and I got in touch with Tom to provide bartending service at our upcoming wedding rehearsal dinner. Tom is very organized, kind, and knowledgeable! One of the things we loved about Tom is that he was able to provide us with a portable bar and other items that most places typically have a hard time supplying! This was fantastic because due to our rehearsal dinner location, we wouldn’t have access to a regular bar. I would recommend him to anyone looking for great service at a fair value. We are so excited to have him for our event in May- I will be sure to update further after our event takes place! :)

Tom was the bartender for our wedding 02/20/2022 and was absolutely amazing. From the first interaction during the planning phase Tom was quick to respond to any and all questions, knowledgeable, and informed us what would keep the night running smoothly. Setting up the day of the wedding Tom was extremely helpful from the moment he arrived. He had brought a partner to help set up the bar area, made suggestions of what would look better, and helped take the stress off such a hectic morning. Additionally without asking Tom had a great idea to set a bottle of wine at each table to ensure our guests had a drink during the dances and speeches. During the reception Tom and his partner came to The Bride and Me and poured us our first drink, a small gesture but one that showed us he was there for us bc and wanted the day to be special. There was never a line for the guests to get drinks, and every guest I talked to had nothing but praise for how professional and just how cool of people Tom and his partner were. Tom truly made our day special and we cannot recommend him enough.

Tom and his assistant were great! Tom was responsive, professional and punctual. He arrived earlier than expected to set up the portable bar and glassware I rented through him. He was ready to go when the first guest arrived. Their drinks were solid, my husband and many of the guest mentioned how good the drinks were. I told him I was having a Great Gatsby themed party and he and the bar back showed up in professional bartender attire. I had approximately 81 guests and there was never more than two or three people in line for a drink. I would definitely hire him again. As a matter of fact several guests asked for his contact information. Thank you Tom for making my birthday party fun and stress free!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
To hire me, my requirements are: A minimum of $350 for 3 hours. $80 an hour for each additional hour. The price goes up for parties of 90+, when a second bartender is required. 25% deposit due when I am hired. *Gratuity appreciated. *Rates may change from January through March
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I determine if they need one bartender or two, what the menu will be, and what the venue is. I am more experienced than most bartenders, so I can advise on many topics. I explain what is in the Bartending Package: Bar Tools: Bottle openers, corkscrews, jiggers, muddlers, mixing glasses, pitchers, spill mats, towels, cleaning spray, and ice scoops. Equipment: Portable bar, coolers, tubs/buckets Materials: Cocktail napkins
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked in restaurants for 25 years. I am fully insured -- general liability and liquor liability. I have two certificates, a ServSafe Food Handler's Card and a TIPS Certification Card.
