I've only been training with Mike LoBue at Foundation Health & Performance for six weeks and I can't believe the difference in how I feel and look! I decided to train with him after I saw the difference he's made in my son as he trains for pole vaulting on his high school track and field team. My son's physique has been transformed from a gangly teenager to a toned and strong athlete. For myself, the main concern was "middle age spread" and growing pain from my childhood diagnosis of Scoliosis. After only six weeks my clothes are fitting again, my back and leg pains are reduced and I have no doubt as I continue to train those things will continue to improve. I look forward to maintaining all my normal physical activities and taking on new ones as I age. And I also must compliment Mike's partner, Andy. His Chiropractic skills compliment Mike's workout routines and they make a great pair in maintaining my good health and well being. I have to admit I don't always look forward to working physically hard at 8am, but when my thoughts go to how good I'll feel and how effortless and fun Mike and Andy make the session I never have missed my training and chiropractic appointments.

I've been a consistent gym-go'er for a couple of years, lifting weights and running. Sometimes the same old thing can be a little monotonous. When I started going to Foundation once or twice a week, I found myself not only motivated to improve my workouts, but recharged to hit it hard no matter where I'm exercising. Foundation has taught me that proper form and technique are important. Mike LoBue seems to know exactly how far and when to push me. Dr. Andy is there to correct my form and offers to adjust me when I feel misaligned. And the people who are there to get fit and healthy are optimistic and encouraging. All around it's a positive, energetic and encouraging environment created by the people who work there and by the people who are there to get healthy.

As an intro, I am a college football player and i have trained with Mike and Andy for total of about 8 months over 2 years. They are the best trainers that ive worked with. Foundation Strength has gotten me to where i never thought id be. Everytime i go in there, i am pushed to my maximum. And because of that i have achieved maximum results. i went from a 210 pound fairly strong player to a 230 pound knuckle draggin stud. In one summer, my max squat went from 425 to nearly 600 pounds. And i could move. I was as limber as i had ever been. The training that they do at Foundation is all around. They focus on form, movement and strength. Not only are they great trainers, they are great people. I am not one with lots of money (college student) and i couldnt afford to pay Mike, but because he cares about me and wanted to see me improve, he allowed me to continue to train with him. With Foundation it is more than just a gym, its a place where friends go to be pushed to their potential, which is usually further than they could imagine

Well, I trained with Mike and Andy for about 8 months the last two summers. The growth that i was able to see from the training that we did was amazing. I went from a 220 pound strong guy to a 235 knuckle draggin stud. They pushed me further than i thought i could even go. They transformed me into the physical specimen that i wanted to be. But, the thing that has impressed me the most about them is how much they cared about me. They wanted to see me succeed and reach my goals and beyond. When i was training with them, i didnt have the money to pay them. Mike allowed, and expected me to come and continue training eventhough i could not afford it. They are great trainers and even greater people. Foundation Strength is second to none!

Foundation Health & Performance is the real deal. I first met Mike the summer after my junior year in high school. I had pulled my hamstring pretty severely and I only had a month to prepare before summer football practices. Within a week I was starting to feel better. Two weeks and my muscle was as good as new. However, I didn't anticipate making gains in my strength, speed, and flexibility. My senior football season was injury free thanks to Mike. The next summer I trained with Mike at his new place: Foundation Health and Performance in Carlsbad. The new and improved gym allowed me to prepare for my first college football season. Not only was I in excellent shape, but my training helped me earn a starting spot at cornerback. Unfortunately, I needed surgery after the season and once again I turned to Foundation Health & Performance for my rehab. Mike, Cari, and Andy all helped me in my quest to return for my sophomore football season. Once again, I made gains! I made it back ready for my sophomore season and I was in the best shape of my life. Looking back at the past 3 years, the results have been life changing. I would like to thank the Foundation Health and Performance Team once again for everything. I can't wait to come back and train again this summer!
