Does this sound like you? "I am a small business owner, busy and simply frustrated by the constant changes in Social Media. I know I should update my website and start blogging, as well as get on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, but I don't know where to begin."
We know how you feel. We were in the same state of confusion and frustration when social media first hit the internet, too. Then, we decided to peek inside and see what all the buzz was about. We actually found that we really liked it and began our journey to learn all we could about how to navigate social media. We have been working on cracking the Social Marketing Code for quite a few years now and can happily report, we still like it and are having a lot of fun with it.
Our motto is "Be seen. Be heard. Be remembered." Our business is to help our clients gain more visibility through the use of online resources and tools.

Question and answer
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. My advice is to know these three main questions in advance:
1) What is your budget?
2) What is your expected turnaround time?
3) What is your expectation on quality of the work project?
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. If I were a customer, I wish I knew which social media services I should be on. There are so many to choose from and all my friends and colleagues keep telling me I need to be on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
What is the difference between these three?
How long will I have to spend on all of these sites every day and won't it suck up all of my time?
They seem like a big waste of time.
I am often asked the questions above and hear many similar ones.
First, I believe it is imperative to know what you want to say to people about your product and/or service because *Social Media* is, well, Social. So, you'll be building relationships with real people who may want to learn more about you before buying your products/services.
Second, not only is it important to know what you want to say, but *WHO* your potential customer is. If you know 'WHAT and WHO', you're much closer to understanding how to use social media to market your products/services appropriately.
Third, knowing where your customers are conversing online is tremendously helpful in deciding where to spend your time and money. If your customers are spending their time on LinkedIn, but not as much on Twitter, then it makes more sense for you to be on LinkedIn vs. Twitter. You can have a presence on all three, but focus on the most important one.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. If I were a consumer seeking to hire a professional for my services, I would ask the following questions:
1) How long have you been in business?
2) How long have you specialized in the specific services you provide?
3) What industries have you worked with in the past and currently?
4) Do you have any past or current clients I can speak with about your work?
