We offer lessons and training to all ages and levels of riders, and have started many riders and coached them to numerous championships. We have a talented and fun staff, and great school horses ready to make your horse riding dreams come true!

I started riding as an adult and looked for a program that encouraged the horse experience from the ground up. The trainers at Skye Valley Training gave me a strong foundation for my horse journey by helping me get to know how to properly care for a horse, learn how to ride it and appreciate horsemanship and the joyful relationship that comes with spending time on a horse. Ten years later I am riding on my own special equine partner and spending amazing times with my kids who are also riding and eventing throughout Northern California. Watching my kids grow and learn empathy and compassion as well as responsibility for their horse has been such a wonderful experience. All of us have acquire poise and confidence during our horse journey and it has been so much fun to spend horse filled weekends camping with the horses, watching my kids compete as a team, not only with their horse but with the other eventers or dressage riders showing alongside us. I didn't know when I started on that first riding lesson ten years ago that it would become such a passion and fulfilling part of my family's life. Skye Valley Training gave us the foundation by providing quality lessons, strong mentorship, fantastic lesson horses and a great barn atmosphere and friendly clientele. Adults and children alike will get riding lessons suited to the absolute beginner or to more advanced riders. The trainers also have experience in working with young horses, training you and your horse to the next level and provide a varied and extensive training program if you have a horse. World class clinicians come to our barn on a regular basis and our home barn schooling shows offer all riders show experience at any level. Our barn is fantastic as well, offering miles of trails, 2 indoor and 2 outdoor arenas for year round riding. You will not be disappointed if you start your horse journey with Skye Valley Training!
