Learn to play the music you love! First lesson is free! Learn guitar lessons from a professional and patient female guitarist with over 22 years experience teaching both group classes and private guitar students!
- All ages: Children, teens and adults.
- All skill levels: Beginning to advanced; electric or acoustic.
- All musical styles: Rock, pop, blues, country and classical.
We have a private lesson studio with comfortable waiting room located at 21405 Devonshire #206, Chatsworth, CA (in the Ralph's Shopping Center).
Nikki's lessons consist of what you want to play and what you need to learn, including: Reading music, theory, soloing, learning songs by ear, developing songwriting skills, and so much more!
- Tuition rates: 30 minutes -- $27.50; 60 minutes -- $55.00
- Lessons are once a week. Make-up lessons are given when the lesson is canceled 24 hours in advance.
We have recitals twice a year (summer and winter). You will get to perform with a live band.
I enjoy teaching very much and helping each individual student reach his or her own personal musical goals. A teacher can help you learn at a much faster pace than trying to learn on your own. Take lessons; why reinvent the wheel?! Come down and take the free lesson; you will be glad you did.

Our son started taking guitar lessons with Nikki four years ago as an absolute beginner -- he didn't know how to hold a guitar, had never read music, and was painfully shy. Within the first several weeks, he was playing simple music. After a few months, he had his first recital, and when we found out he would have to get on stage alone, we told Nikki that we weren't sure he could do it -- we thought he would freeze. Nikki assured us that he was ready and that she was sure he could do it. We could hardly believe our eyes when our son sat alone in a spot light on stage and played his first song. Nikki is an amazing music teacher. She is thoughtful in her approach, always making sure our son is both making progress and really having fun. Our son now plays a wide range of music, from classical to rock 'n roll. The confidence he gained through Nikki's nurturing has had a major impact on the rest of his life -- he even signed up for the talent show in school this year! Thank you, Nikki!

Nikki is the best! My son started with her when he was only in 2nd grade. She has always encouraged him and balances his lesson between "necessary" stuff and fun stuff. He looks forward to his lesson every week and has come so far! She encourages him to try things that are a little hard for him and this increases his growth and confidence every time. Guitar lessons with Nikki have not only been good for his musical skills but have increased his self confidence in every aspect of life. We whole heartedly recommend her to anyone young or old wishing to learn guitar. If you're learning from someone else, you are settling for second best!!!

My two boys were taught guitar by Nikki some years ago. They loved her, she was fun and they looked forward to their lessons. What more can you ask from a teacher? I highly recommend her to anyone who wants a teacher their kids will enjoy and who makes learning guitar fun.

We love Nikki! Not only is she an excellent guitar player, she has great patience and the ability to keep kids focused during the lesson. She is encouraging, positive, always on time. We are thrilled to have her as our teacher for the past 2 years!

A. Not every guitar teacher you meet is good with kids, their are plenty of great guitar players in town, but some are not good with chrildren. I take teaching very seriously and I am always trying to improve my skills as a teacher. After over 22 years exp I know what works with kids and what does not.
