SDTC is family built and family operated. Hiring us is like bringing a Mobil Mexican Restaurant to your event. We are a taco company first, we specialize is Carne Asada, Pollo Asado, Adobada, Lengua, Fish tacos, Shrimp tacos, Jumbo rolled tacos, Birria. But we also make Ceviche, bacon dogs, Empanadas and other foods for a creative menu.

SD Taco Co and Ernie provided a great experience for us and our party guests. It was easy to coordinate and Ernie was always very professional. All the guest left full and we have leftovers for a week!

I have eaten from San Diego Taco Company at 2 catering affairs. I thought the first time Wow!! Their really good.
As luck would have it they catered another affair I went to and the food was as good if not better tasting the second time.
I would definitely hire them.

A. STREET TACOS! TACO BAR! TACO STAND! TACO CART!
We are doing parties in backyards, and doing events such as weddings. People love our street tacos, but our baja style tacos are making a name for themselves as well. Our fish & shrimp tacos are getting great reviews!
A. Do a little research. I mean companies now a day's should have a strong website, Facebook, Thumbtack. We only post original pictures of our food. Some of these companies are using fake pictures.
Is the company licensed? Does the company have their ServSafe Health Certificate? Can they provide a list of good referrals? Are they willing to do a tasting before your event if you request it? How do they prepare the meat, is it actually grilled or cooked on a griddle? How long do you stay at our event? Can you except credit cards?
A. Most of the Taco catering companies are starting to get lazy and purchase pre-chopped meat (Carne Asada & Pollo Asado) and are cooking it on a griddle, or what we call a plancha. It either turns your meat greasy or dried out.
That is not authentic and takes away from the whole experience. Here at SDTC we cook our meat on the grill over mesquite, and then take the time to chop it ourselves. It gives it that authentic taste you always crave!

A. I love what I do! I quit the banking industry of over 10 years to follow my dream. All our food is homemade from scratch, and our meat marinades are all original.
First of all, our service is second to none. We always answer emails or return phone calls immediately or with-in 24 hours.
We communicate with our customers from the very beginning, so each customer understands the entire process and knows what to expect.
We show up on time, and make your event an experience.
Our food is unsurpassed, and I strongly believe we have the best Taco Catering in Southern Cali.
A. Mexican food isn't all like taco shop food. I see Mexican food as Cuisine. Even the vendor foods you find on the streets of Mexico.
Mexican food is all about the preparation. Even though we cook our meats on-site, and stay a few hours at your event, we still did numerous of hours preparing our signature dishes before hand. You can't cut corners in the preparation of our original recipes.
