The sharpening industry, it's really a problem to find anyone who can effectively sharpen straight razor blades. Well, not anymore! the Sharpening Shack was so remarkable to do business with, I'll tell everyone I know about them! Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Our most requested mail-order sharpening services are: knives, hair and household scissors, straight-razors, tweezers, machetes, chisels, plane blades, hand saws, chainsaw chains and drill bits!!!
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. Question: What types of edges can your services perform when sharpening a knife?
Answer: Should be able to do flat, convex, chisel and double bevel. They should ask you what the knife is being used for and then tell you the type of blade edge they will be placing on the knife based upon usage.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. Just look at our website compared to our competitors, we are detailed and we sharpen every item either by hand, machine or combination of to the specification of the item and the usage. Many other vendors just grind away without concern for the item or the usage.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. How long will it take to sharpen my order. At the Sharpening Shack our goal is to return you items USPS Priority Mail "1 Day" after we receive them. Large orders of more than 15 items will be a 2 day turn around.
