Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. RESIDENTIAL REPAIRS - Change out water heaters ,replace kitchen faucets ,replace angle stops & water supply lines , fix leaky tiolets ,unplug drains , install reverse osmosis systems .

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Ask alot of questions about your plumbing situation , about his plumbing expereince , does he / she have general liability insurance , ask if he / she is offering any discounts - example ( seniors , military , police, fireman )ask for references .

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Yes, I would like to know if there is a plumbing maintainence program that I can can follow ,that won't be to difficult for me ? / Sure , just call me & schedule a free plumbing inspection on your residence and i'll be more than happy to share those secrets with you .

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. To start with I only do quality work. I clean up all my trash & haul it away, I'm always in a uniform. I 'll never swear in your house and I always put my customers needs before my own .

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I've been fortunite to have these feelings of gratifacation by helping people in their time of need.Not only by taking care of their plumbing problems, but being able to offer them a fair price . It feels good doing what is RIGHT ....

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. WHY DID THIS HAPPEN ? / Being the knolegeable plumber that I am ,I always have an answer . CAN YOU FIX IT RITE NOW ? / 95 % of the time I do have the material needed to do the repairs rite then & there . HOW MUCH WILL IT COST ? / And I always have fair prices & offer discounts.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. ME - That I'm a god fearing man , I'm a family man , I have integrity , I'm courtious , I'm puntual , I'm honest , I'm a small business man doing what I can in this terrible time of reccession. MY FROFESSION - I attended and compleated a union apprenticeship for 5 years . I also hold a current journeymans card for the state of califonia , I have 23 years of experiance in residencial / commercial plumbing

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. IT WAS MY DESTINY . LOL

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. I had the pleasure of replumbing a small building . Originally it was a vidio store ,and the new tenant was opening a bakery specailizing in cupcakes .( cupcakessquared.com ) So everything from the ground plumbing to the topout to the finish work needed to be done .All in all the construction part of it went pretty smooth. Opening day was a big success . check out their website ,the cupcakes are to die for!! They also make sugar free cupcakes ...YUM-YUM...

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Yes I do , I've been certified to install wirsbo ,aqua pex ,cpvc,and tankless water heaters .

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. GOING GREEN - tankless water heateers ( tax credits up to $1500.00 ) TIOLETS - dual flushing ( lift handle up for liquids / push handle down for solids. WHOLE HOUSE FILTRATION - instead of soft water and reverse osmosis .

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. repaired kitchen faucet leak ,replaced drain pipes under kitchen sink ,unpluged dish washer drain line ,unplug bathtub drain ...It cost the homeowner $ 170.00 after all rebates..It took me 1 -1/2 hrs.

A. I don't charge hourly rates . Everything is by bid .

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. Get some professional trainning . There are apprenticeship schools you could sign up for .There are alot of things to learn about plumbing . Example - plumbing codes , why things are installed a certain way , what can happen if you do it another way . Once you know what the plumbing inside a wall should look like , it's easier to estimate what it will take to make a repair an how long it will takean how much it will cost .
