Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Don't sacrifice Customer Service and Quality of Work for a lower price.

Find a Designer who cares about their clients and take PRIDE in their work. Some so call designers only do "design" work because it's the only way they know how to make money.

Also remember just because some one has a computer with the right software, it doesn't make them a designer.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. It really is true, you do it what you pay for. I know people wonder why they're designers who charge very cheap and others charge more. With years of experience comes skill and knowledge.

A lot of new designers may be very creative but do not have the experience using their design software and have a hard time converting their great ideas to a digital form.

They may be able to sketch out a great logo but can't convert the sketch into a format for printing for your business cards or for you to use on your website/facebook.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. How many years of experience do they have,
What is their turnaround time,
Are they keeping up on their trade trends,
Are they using the latest software version (if they're using a real out dated version then they're not keeping up with the latest trends and it mean their computer is out dated too. They don't take pride in their work and don't or can't invest in their "tools")
