Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Installation or replacement of new kitchen and bath fixtures, installation or repair of water and gas lines, and fixing work attempted by customers or unlicensed plumbers.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I am a journeyman plumber and completed a 5-year apprenticeship program then went on to gain over 10 years of experience in journey-level work. Experience counts!

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I like solving customers' problems and improving the looks and function of their homes and businesses. I like the sense of accomplishment that comes from building things.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Customers often seek estimates over the phone. I don't charge to visit the job site and give an estimate, and seeing what needs to be done is the only way I can give an accurate estimate.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. Hiring the cheapest person for the job doesn't necessarily mean, and usually doesn't mean, the best person for the job has been hired. If they hire the wrong person, having someone come in and fix that person's work could end up costing a lot more in the long run. Hiring the wrong person to handle water or gas lines in your home or business can be disastrous!
