- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Tile installations can be very simple or extremely complicated but certainly each job is different. Some instalIers bid jobs by the square foot which is based on an average but dosen't take in consideration size of the job or job access. I like to know all of my costs ie; labor, materials, and tile so that I can give the customer the very best price for their particular installation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I am a member of the Ceramic Tile and Stone Institute of Northern California and have been active with them for many years, and the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI)
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The customer should make sure that the provider is licensed and insured and should ask for a list of references to call.
