What i like the most about my job is that its not a job or a hobby. Its something that we love to do! Yes we def take our work serious. The art of makeup and being able to enhance a woman's natural beauty to something so exquisite, the look on our clients face when they fall in love with a new look and having the talent to do so just makes what we do nso worth it. :)

The makeup artist that did my make up on my wedding day was Yvette from Dazzled Doll. Yvette did my hair and make up perfect! Yvette arrived on time and was very professional. Considering that it was my wedding day I was a bit nervous but Yvette made me feel very comfortable. Before hireing Yvette for my wedding day I had my own make up artist that would do my make up on special occasions. Unfortunitly my make up artist moved to Southern California and I was on a budget and could not afford to fly her to the Antioch area to do my make up on my wedding day. So I started researching and looking for make up artist in my area that would be available to do my make up on my wedding day. I came across Dazzled Doll profile on Thumbtack and came in contact with Yvette. She was very nice and professional so I decided to have her do my hair and make up for my wedding on July 28, 2012. As I stated before, Yvette arrive on time which I was very happy about. Her make up and hair was done very nice and that was a good first impresion. She started with my make up which turned out wonderful!! Then did my hair which also turned out wonderful!! She also kept asking me if I liked it or if I wanted her to add or take make up off. (Which I thought was good, because working with make up artist in the past, some of them dont seem to care what you think or if you like it). I was so happy after seeing what Yvette did with my hair and make up, I couldnt wait for my fiancee to then see me walking down the isle. I think every bride should feel that way on their wedding day, beautiful, important, and comfortable. I will definitly be using Yvette again and I will also advise my friends, family or any one else who is having a special occasion or who just wants to look beautiful for a day to use Yvette. With doing my make up and hair I tend to be a bit of a perfectionist considering that I'm a former model and I only had one person doing my hair and make up continuously for years, that being my former make up artist that moved to Southern California. But I would say, Yvette did my hair and make up better than my former artist, so I lucked up big time! I'm so grateful and forever thankful I found Yvette, she will make you look even better than you could ever amagine!!!!
