A Dedicated Piano Teacher
I try to always do work that I can be proud of. This includes having lots of great teaching music at my fingertips, and really listening to the student about what they want to get from their lessons. This strategy keeps me happy and enthusiastic, which helps my students stay happy and enthusiastic!
Due to the dedication to her craft, Rebecca Bogart is now at a stage where she is the one being sought out by students, some of whom are already fairly accomplished. Indeed, she has gone a long way from the 17-year-old girl who once played piano for the church choir.
My favorite project right now is the series of adult master classes that I teach once a month on Sundays. Over the last year, the participants have gotten to know one another, seem less nervous about playing for the group, and have learned from observing each other's challenges and progress...
Rebecca teaches the Taubman approach, which is an ergonomic way of playing the piano. She can also use audio or video lesson recordings, if it would mean better results.
Schedule a trial lesson with me and come check out the studio! You might find that a new ear and way of thinking is just what you need to learn and develop as a pianist.
