Once you join the Dizzy Desserts family, you will be family for life. They are great people who go to great lengths to fulfill your dessert dreams. My wedding cake was red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting-- impossible to find at 4 other bakers!!!! I return occasion after occasion for cakes!

A. Be sure to order in advance. Don't wait for the last minute as most bakeries get booked. Get as much information as possible such as cost per serving, delivery charges, cake tasting appointments, flavors, fillings, frostings, etc. Keep a journal with your favorite flavors and also be sure to include photographs of cakes or cupcakes that you like. That way, you can bring them in to the bakery and show exactely what you are looking for. At Dizzy Desserts, we cover even the smallest details. So you will be able to sit back and relax after ordering from us. We will make sure your special day is a success!
A. What flavors and filling are available for cakes and cupcakes? Are there any other pastries such as Petitfores? Also, are all the cakes and pastries baked fresh or are they frozen? Do you deliver to areas outside of the Inland Empire and are there any fees involved? Did you know that most venues will cut up sheet cakes in the back? Sheet cakes are less expensive and can save you a lot of money in the long run. Your guests will never know if they got a slice from the sheet cake or the actual cake on display during the event! Be sure to ask about sheet cakes and the prices when visiting the bakery.
A. The most important thing about the bakery you choose is flavor and quality of work. It is always very disappointing to find a bakery that does beautiful work but the cake tastes terrible. It is a waste of money if your guests do not enjoy their slice of cake and discard it. So be certain that you taste several of the cakes that are normally baked on a daily basis. Doing a cake tasting is the best way to be sure that you will be getting a great cake that you and your guests will all enjoy. If a bakery does not offer cake tastings, then you might consider going else where. Also, be sure to ask about delivery charges. At Dizzy Desserts, we will deliver your cake free if you pay in full at the time of your cake tasting. :-)
A. Most customers that come in have a set budget, especially for a wedding or big event. If the cake of your dream is not within your budget, be sure to ask what else can be offered to help offset the cost of the cake. A sheet cake that is partially decorated and placed in the kitchen area or in the back of the reception area is a great way to cut the cost of servings for each guest. So consider getting a smaller tiered cake that will serve some of your guests and the rest will be served the sheet cake. Since all the cake is normally cut away from the guests sight, your guests will never know if they have gotten a slice of cake from the displayed cake or the sheet cake.
