FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is within industry norms even though it’s custom. The larger a project the greater the discount. Existing customers receive discounted rates on future work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically get an idea of what a customer wants by providing a short questionnaire. From there, I get a picture of the scope of the requirement and manage client exceptions. Some things simply aren’t feasible for a variety of reasons. From there, I build a project plan based on those expectations. Once the plan is formalized, and approved we start with the areas that are of the most concern to the client. Periodic updates are a must in the stage as are test runs. Once a module is complete, we plan an implementation and test data accuracy by testing prior information. We do this for each module of the project until all are complete. This is followed by the development of user guides and user hands in training. The “go live” day is monitored for minor bugs and adjustments and the project is finalized. All products have lifetime warranties for current modules with discounts for later additions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have more than 20 years experience assessing business as a Certified internal Auditor and Certified Fraud Examiner working as a Chief of Internal Audit for gaming facilities, and with the Department of the Army and with the Navy Inspector General. Additionally, I have an MBA with an Emphasis in Information Resource Management, a MIcrosoft certification in MS Access development and hundreds of projects under my belt over the course of my career.
