You won't find another trainer who cares as much for their clients, takes the time and effort to actually help them, and loves their job more than I do. I love literally everything about my job. It's amazing helping people and seeing them improve over time, I love seeing people rise to and overcome challenges, and I truly enjoy the lifestyle that I get to promote every day.

I was never a big fanatic of fitness, especially if it involved the foreign environment of the gym. Matt changed all that and showed me how fun it can all be. He took me through the rigors of TRX training, which was a new and exciting experience for me. I immediately saw results! My favorite training with him was heavy weight lifting. I don't think there was another female in the whole gym that was lifting weights like me, thanks to Matt. His attention to detail, knowledge of the entire body form, variety, dedication to you, warm smile and awesome laugh are just a few things that make him a great person. He was especially attentive with helping me keep my weight in check during and after my pregnancy. He is the kind of trainer that really cares about you!

I don’t think there is enough room on the internet for me to tell you how truly amazing Matt Parks is as a personal trainer and weight lifting coach!!!! In my former life I was a personal trainer and Pilates instructor for over 8 years, but also an avid yogi and Crossfitter, so I’ve been around my fair share of trainers and athletes, alike. Not only is Matt extremely qualified, but is hands down the BEST personal trainer and weight lifting coach I have ever worked with. And the cherry on top: Matt is hilarious, personable and creative, which always makes for a fun time. Because let’s be real: not very many people really enjoy working out. He is currently working on breaking the bad habits I’ve formed over the years which have inherently caused many injuries and muscle imbalances, like improving my squat and working through a shoulder injury. Matt is also working with me to lean out and develop certain areas of my body that need more attention. I promise you Matt will brighten up your day with his infectious smile and get you on your way to achieving your fitness goals in no time. He will also set you up and keep you in check with your diet, which is key to seeing the results you desire.

I have been training consistently with Matt for six months and have seen outstanding results. I feel stronger and leaner. I am able to lift and push more weight than I could have imagined. Matt tailors programs specifically for your body and goals, and he takes into account any previous injuries. Matt is extremely knowledgeable about fitness- he understands how the body is functioning in relation to each exercise he teaches. Every exercise is chosen with care and a specific purpose in order to target muscles that will bring you closer to your desired results. Matt also gives advice about nutrition, pre-, intra- and post-workout supplements and routines. He genuinely cares about your health and progress. Not to mention that Matt is charismatic, energetic and motivating (but not overbearing); he makes exercising challenging yet fun.

Matt is the best trainer I have ever worked with. When I first started training with him, I was the heaviest and unhealthiest I've ever been in my life. In 3 short months, with Matt's training and nutritional advice, I lost 20 lbs and finally felt good in my own skin! Matt is incredibly knowledgeable about an array of subjects from anatomy and physiology while training, to nutrition and proper sequences of exercises to do. I literally would not be where I am today physically if it weren't for Matt Parks and his incredible training!

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I have logged countless hours in seminars, taking supplementary certification courses, and researching methods to better serve my clients and make me a better trainer. I love learning and my desire to educate myself helps me to be the best I can for myself and my clients.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    I focus largely on mobility and strength, mostly because people generally don't think of these two aspects as going together. My clients are everyone from desk workers to athletes to senior citizens and being both flexible AND strong can benefit anyone. I do lots of stretching and range of motion work as well as anything from bodyweight exercises to heavy barbell work.
