Introduction: Hello! My name is Marc Ramirez (aka digitalBlood or "dB"). This is my first time using Thumbtack, and Im looking to expand my business. I started digitalBlood Sound as a DJ in Los Angeles for over the past 15 years. I also own a small project studio in Covina, CA. Through the years my work has evolved into music production and recording engineering technology, including live sound reinforcement. I have meticulous detail to all the work I do weather audio or DJ related. I always try to help people make the impossible possible. Today my work has ultimately transcended into working on independent films in sound design and my own music projects as well. You can easily describe me, Marc Ramirez (digitalBlood Sound) as your audio handyman for all your recordings and live sound needs. DJ I own a top of the line JBL sound system that I use for all my live sound events. I also own an extensive music library of many different genre's. My music library ranges from the 60's, Oldies, 70's, Disco, Classic Rock, 80's, Flashback/New wave, 90's, Hip-hop/Rap, Pop, Top 40, House, Techno (EDM/Dance), R&B, Rock, Latin: Cumbia's/Salsa, and many many more. I am both a digital and analog DJ. I can run two turntables and mixer (analog) or run Traktor DJ software with a controller mixer on a MacBook Pro running OS X (digital). Technics 1200 turntables, LED laser lighting, mic, and fog machine are all available upon request. RECORDING I use both Ableton Live 9 Suite and Avid Pro Tools 11 Software DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations) for all my audio recording related projects. I can work with any genre of music, from electronic to hip-hop. I can also work with video projects that require sound. All my computers run on Mac OSX. You can bring your projects to me or I can take my mobile recording rig to you. Where we can conduct music recordings, mixing, editing, mastering, or other audio related recording projects in the comfort of your home or location. I enjoy the work I do because audio recording and live sound is my life. It is the air that I breathe. And all sound, weather it be music production, engineering, live sound entertainment (DJ), or sound design. I assure you that I take pride in the work I do, It's my fiduciary duty!
