Reading the bible daily is my continuing education.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had been ordained as a Pastor for years and never performed any ceremonies as it was not my ministry calling at the time. I then had a friend ask me to perform their ceremony and of course I couldn't decline. Once I got that joyful feeling in my heart as I united two souls I realized this was something I wanted to do more of!!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Talk with them and make a personal connection with your officiant. There are tons of details that surround your special day but when all is said and done, what is going to matter most are the words the bride and groom will exchange and the moment when two become one. You want someone who cares, someone with personality and someone who is professional to make that moment count!!
