I originally found May from taking class at Peace Yoga Gallery in dtla where she taught a yin yang class. Unfortunately she no longer teachers there bc I always left feeling amazing! Part of it was a stronger power-like class and towards the end was slow meditative stretching. I've always suffered from back pain and sometimes certain poses seem to aggravate it. So I decided to take private lessons with her to understand my body better and how to move safely. Most of the time I feel like she knows my body better than me. Pain is at bay now and I feel stronger and healthier than ever before!
