FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do keep up with new products as a matter a fact the latest is Shellac from CND a polish that wears like gel does not chip or smear, you literally get a manicure that the polish last two weeks
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My German grandma was always concerned about feet and said once ,"put your shoes on , do you know that one of the most important parts of your body are your feet? Death sneaks in thru your feet" As a kid that shook me off ,then in my teens I laughed about it. Then in My 20 it was not too funny as I learned of gangrene ,and fungus on nails causing problems in your body. I needed to learn more about and study podiatry, but as world turns around I end up in the United States, having to feed two girls ,and someone advised me to be a manicurist while I am able to get all my credits to be a podiatrist ....but, it has been more than 15 years and I still love being a beauty consultant.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
To hire any service: manicures, pedicures, hair removal, etc. you need to communicate clearly what is your need, if the technician does not understand ,probably you will be wasting your money and your time, and wont even get "what you paid for"
