You can find support for yourself, your relationship and / or your family at this intimate, community-based counseling center. Cliff Crain and Liz Hannigan have been serving the Tri-Valley area since 1994.
The center offers individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, parenting support, co-parenting and step-parenting classes.
A powerful therapy technique is used to heal old hurts and trauma (EMDR), and EFT is available at the center.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. The most important first step is to MAKE THE INITIAL PHONE CALL to set up an appointment.
During your first meeting, bring in a short list of your goals for seeking a therapist, and your questions about the experience and counseling style of the therapist.

A. It is helpful to understand the basic difference between the following professional services: (1) an MFT therapist, (2) an LCSW, (3) a psychologist, and (4) a psychiatrist.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. The connection you 'feel' when you first meet with your potential counselor is probably more important than any specific questions you might ask. Trust your intuition.
