Introduction: I create tonal landscapes that explore the three important planes of the landscape: the foreground, middle ground and background. Emphasizing Foreground tone, middle ground tone, and background tone once a focal point is determined. By using color in this way we can emphasize the tonal healing assets of the landscape. One of the main reasons why so many landscape designersÃÂ¢ÃÂÃÂ projects look flat or lifeless-looking is that they don't realize the importance of tonal contrast in their Landscape Design. Yet it's an easy problem to overcome, once you know how. I have various ways to incorporate tonal contrast in your Landscape Design and have used this technic successfully and effectively for many years. You will be astonished at the 'punch' you can create in your landscape with plant material and other elements. These technics create vibration that creates a space of freedom energy, which in turn create self-love, a pure remembrance of love! By creating a space that can repair and calm the ambiance of your garden one will at the same time help to restore the planet one pretty landscape at a time! I believe a landscape should be an extension of the homeowner's lifestyle and help with spiritual expansion. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do a lot of research on the web being the information highway that it is. As far as design goes I am always looking for new and creative ways of expressing an idea in the landscape as well as new ideas about how to make the space more relaxing.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I always loved being outside as a child in grandma's garden and then when I started having my children I brought them into the garden to help create our outdoor spaces. Once I learned about design I just couldn't get enough. From that I have just always wanted more and more of it. I can't imagine any other way to express my self then to create gardens.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I most commonly meet with my clients to discuss their landscape desires and give them options as to what will work the best for them as relates to their desires and budget. Then I transform it onto paper, again discuss and then lend assistance in finding a qualified landscape contractor in their area.
