  Shelter Dogs to Dream Dogs is AMAZING!!!!! Cate is a angel sent from heaven!!!
  
  I adopted a dog 5 years ago from another rescue and wasn't to impressed. I love that dog with all my heart but I still had to get all of his shots, microchip, and neutered him after paying the whole adopted fee. He wasn't house trained, didn't know how to walk on a leash, and had no respect. This time I did my research on different rescues before I adopted again. I found Shelter Dogs to Dream Dogs website and was very impressed by this organization. I saw a dog up for adoption that was perfect for me. I emailed Cate and set up an appointment to meet the dog. She told me to bring my dog with me to make sure that they will get along.When I got there my new dog knew his basic commands and listened so well. Cate spent over 2 hours answering my questions and concerns. She told me how to walk a dog on a leash properly, gave me information about training, and food. Cate helped me with some issues when I first went home until my new dog got comfortable. I have been going to training classes with Cate to train myself to make sure we are all on the same page. I would recommend Shelter Dogs to Dream Dogs and Cate to everyone. She is the "Dog Whisper of San Diego"!!!!

  Cate is awesome! I emailed her in regards to a dog on her website. I was on the search for a companion for my father in law. He was looking for a lab with moderate energy and good temperament. He is 70 and has had both hips replaced. Cate took half an hour with me over the phone asking me what we were looking for in a dog. She had a couple dogs that may not have been good fits. She told me she knew what we were looking for and that she would keep her eyes open. She contacted me a couple days later and had a dog that she thought would be a great fit. My husband and I went to her to check out the dog before getting my father in laws hopes up. We brought our dogs with to the meeting because they would be around. She offered us pointers on correcting some of our dogs behaviors. She spend hours with us, showing us the dog. She also asked that we call her with any questions. We thought this dog would be a great fit so we encouraged my father in law to come meet Dylan. Cate again took a couple hours with us, showing my father in law how to work with Dylan and giving him advice. She also explained that she worked on the ground work of the dogs training but the success of the dog at home depended on the time we put into the training. He adopted Dylan on Saturday and has been extremely happy with him. He has had questions and emailed Cate, he immediately received a call. I believe that she really loves saving dogs and I will refer anyone looking for a dog to her.

  I can't say enough amazing things about Cate and her facility. She is always available to answer any questions about dog behavior no matter how simple (believe me, ive had some doozies) and so far she has been right every time! I will never deal with another dog trainer or adopt a dog from anyone else ever again, why would I when I have been blessed enough to find Cate Sacks! (: Seeing is believing, check out her facility ASAP.

  We just adopted a two year old lab from Cate. Our new dog Gabby is a total angel and we couldn't have gotten a better, well transitioned dog. Cate spent a great amount of time with her and obviously pegged her personality to a tee! She also has another male one year old lab that we spent time with while there. He is a sweet angel who quickly follows commands as taught by Cate. I have already recommended Cate to my friends and will only get any dogs in the future from her. This is a noble thing she does and the money is totally worth it!

  I highly recommend Cate at Shelter Dogs to Dream Dogs! I adopted my Bella from her in Jan. Cate is great at match-making...we are perfect for each other. Bella came to me well behaved and with great manners! Cate has been readily available to me to answer questions and teach me all that I want to learn. We are so lucky that we have Cate's Shelter Dog to Dream Dogs in San Diego! She is awesome!

  would not recommend adopting from this shelter. Cate does not train or spend enough time with the dogs to effectively note and correct their flaws. I adopted a 18month lab from her. We asked is there any bad habits he might have. All she said was that he likes to chew on his collar, besides that he is a great dog. As soon as we took this dog home it was the complete opposite. He chewed on anything including landscaping. You could call his name till you're blue in the face, he still wouldn't come or listen to simple commands. We had to take him back after five days because this dog needed some professional training. Cate didn't even have the decency to do a face to face drop off, instead she sent her husband who has nothing to do with the shelter. And remember that the cost is nonrefundable, so we paid $400 for an an unruly dog to chew and stress us out. What a con!
