My 11-year old daughter has been taking voice lessons from A Dawn of Music for about 3 years now. The teachers are very knowledgeable and have always taught her appropriate skills and songs for her age and ability; the music is challenging, not too easy and not so difficult she can’t master it. The instruction is very clear, with very specific goals. They build one upon the other. The teachers are nuturing and kind, and they love music and teaching. I have, throughout the years, had many questions about her musical development, and my questions have always been answered patiently and thoroughly and to my complete satisfaction.
The studio has a recital two or three times a year, and I see the same students recital after recital, and each time I see significant growth in the students. The prices are quite reasonable. Give them a try, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed!

Polite, Professional and Fun...I love my singing lessons and my teacher, Edna, is patient and talented. The price is right and my teacher makes the impossible attainable. I am approaching the end of my first year and I cannot believe my progress. Thank you, for an excellent program!

A. Try an educator for more than one single lesson to make sure they are the right teacher/student fit for your child. Know what you want from lessons - do you want your child to learn how to be a lifelong musician, a performer, or is this for fun? Know what you are getting from your teacher - what is their training in? Does the personality of your child require a task master or a more patient teacher?
