Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Ask if the technicians are certified for the service they will be providing. Does the company do a felony background checks on field employees? Do you check the pedofile registry on them? Are they drug tested? What is your limit on liability insurance? Are you licensed? Do you carry workers compensation insurance on employees. Do you have a 100% satisfaction guarantee? How long have you been in business? Are you licensed? Do you have references? Have you won any service awards? May I come into your business and meet your staff?

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning are two of the top 5 trades taught in the California prison system. Many trained technicians come into our industry from the prison system. I appreciate rehabilitation and that felons have served their time. There are many places in plumbing heating and air where felons can work such as commercial or new construction without coming into the residential family environment. I think we should be careful who we let into our homes and around our families. As technicians we need personal information about our residential customers and we have access to their most private rooms in your home. Someone released from prison should not have the ability enter the family residential home to perform service and have access to credit card and other personal information unless the potential customer has full disclosure.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. How many years have you been in business? Who will be coming into my home and what is their experience?
What are your limits in liability insurance in the event you do have an accident? Are you available 24 hours 7 days a week in the event something goes wrong? What are your warranties? Do you have references? Is your license in good standing with the CSLB?

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. They should know the times they are available for service and a brief description of the services the need performed

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Our work stands out because we only hire the highest quality trained technicians, we have regular ongoing weekly training and we supply our technicians with state of the art equipment and tools so that they can do their work right the first time.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Love working with people and in an industry where you can make a difference. When people call us they are usually in a desperate situation and it is a great feeling to help them through a difficult situation.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. Like any other professional you truly get what you pay for. It's easy to always find someone cheap. However we are working with water and fire. Disasters can happen when mistakes are made.
