Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. The most important advice for any Homeowner:
Make sure your Painter is LICENSED and INSURED to protect you and your property.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Everyone thinks painting is easy, just call a few friends and grab a paint brush....If only it was that easy! Before taking on a painting job, take a trip to your local home improvement store and have them give you a list of things you will need before you start your project.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We don't just give an estimate like most company's and then leave, we try to assist the Homeowner with their project, whether it's picking colors or timing and expense. Most of the Homeowners we talk to are doing a home improvement for the first time and have no idea were to start, we can help them to keep the project in perspective and on budget!

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I get great satisfaction when a Homeowner see's the completed job, just the look on their face when they see the difference a change in color or texture can make.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Mostly Homeowners are concerned with cost of course, but also how long the job will take, because this is their home and things have to be moved and covered and it can be inconvenient. We find it's better to bring a larger crew for a shorter amount of time then a small crew that has to come back for days.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. We were asked to paint only a few wall's the same color, just to spruce it up before moving in. The Homeowner gave us the color code to match with, the Homeowner was out on deployment and wouldn't be back for a few days, so I sent one of my newest worker to start the job, when we checked in on him we found that he got the color the Homeowner gave him, but it didn't match and he had already painted several walls, so we ended up painting the entire home so that all the walls would match at our expense....oops

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. We are decorators, we are here to help decorate your home, whether with paint, texture,wallpaper or a deck refinishing.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. We did an exterior paint job on a historical home in the Talmadge area, we must have given out at least 25 cards that day to neighbors telling us how great it looked. We were very proud of how the project came out.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. You always have to keep up with your trade and sometimes you do have to take classes to get special certifications to work around lead paint, asbestos and other hazardous materials.
