At Aspire Martial Arts we believe that the practice of Taekwondo offers lifelong benefits to its participants and we offer a variety of programs to fit the needs of you and your family. Founded in 2013, we are dedicated to bringing world-class Martial Arts Training to El Cajon, La Mesa, and Spring Valley. The Black Belt Club, our core program, offers traditional Taekwondo training to kids, teens, and adults. Our Leadership track adds Hyper Fight, Hyper Pro, and other supplemental methodologies to the Taekwondo core. We also offer A.C.W.A. Self-Defense training for teens and adults looking to increase their confidence with practical, reality-based physical training. So, whether your goals are physical fitness, increased mental focus, or just a fun way to meet new people, we’d love to help you take the first (or next) step on your martial arts journey! Aspire Martial Arts is hands down the best place to learn martial arts and self-defense. They have the most skilled and cohesive set of instructors. Classes are consistently awesome and the curriculum is well planned to build skill and technique. My sons aren't just learning taekwondo- they are also learning life skills, leadership and self-defense in a really engaging and supportive atmosphere. Both boys have improved their focus, listening and confidence levels. My sons love that Aspire participates in their school events, holds special competitions and self-defense seminars and has parents' night out parties. Their adult self-defense (ACWA) class is awesome. Doing something like that can be intimidating, but Mr. Morris and the other class members really made me feel comfortable. I've learned how to defend myself along with improving my situational awareness, strength and endurance so I can get home safely to my family. We love Aspire!

I enrolled my granddaughter in Mr. Morris' class because of low self- esteem and shyness. She has blossomed into a self confident, happy 8 year old in just a matter of weeks. Mr. Morris is absolutely incredible in his teachings and compassion for these children. I am a huge advocate for these classes and Mr. Morris' discipline techniques. He strides in helping the children believe in themselves. A BIG 5 stars for this class!

Far and away the best Martial arts studio I’ve ever used!! Mr. Morris and his staff have your child’s best interest at heart always! They not only teach an incredibly great program of Taekwondo and Combatives but also teach a em reinforce great morals and values! With an incredible anti-bullying emphasis Aspire sets the new standard of what to expect in Martial Arts!

Aspire is our second family. My son has been attending since shortly after Mr. Morris opened his doors. You will not find a more caring or dedicated instructor. He truly cares about each and every one of his students and works tirelessly to provide quality instruction and to instill good moral values in our children.
