I have 10 years of teaching experience and am currently tutoring English and French, and offering homework assistance for struggling students. Tell me what you need to learn or improve and I will customize lesson plans to fit that need.
I offer in-home services, but am also willing to meet in local public settings. I am also willing to travel to after school sites where children often times have designated homework completion times. These are ideal times to sit down with a tutor and don't require any extra scheduling outside of most family's already busy schedules.
I offer reasonable rates and am flexible with regard to scheduling.
Question and answer
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I have many years of experience in the field of education. I am keenly aware of the fact that most people thrive in an educational setting where they feel comfortable and relaxed and this is what I try to bring to the table with regard to my tutoring sessions. Helping students to set and achieve small goals initially builds confidence and inspires hope and progress.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I like making positive connections with people and enjoy sharing in the happiness that comes from helping a student find success in area of study where they previously lacked confidence. Each student has different needs. I enjoy the challenge that comes with figuring out how to meet those needs in an enjoyable way.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. Do you work well with children? How many years of teaching experience do you have? Are you a reliable person? My answer to the first question is yes! I love working with children. Which is why I have chosen to work with them for the past 10 years. I am also a reliable tutor because I realize that most people who want to be tutored really need the help and are serious in thier commitment. They deserve someone who is equally commited.
