Being a nurturing, people person my concern is for your health. Your session is your time to relax, not think of anything else, breathe and just be. I welcome all clients to talk to me during the session, i.e. if the pressure is too light, too firm, I'm too warm, too cold...the goal is for you to be comfortable and relax. I just had my first Reiki treatment with September, and it was a wonderful experience. I learned so much as she took the time to explain Reiki healing and to answer my questions. The session was very relaxing and invigorating at the same time. September is very intuitive and she clearly has spiritual gifts. I can't wait for my next session.

September's massages are a special treat. She intuitively knows just right where to go, and what type of strokes to use on the sore spots I tell her about, and often finds ones I'm not aware of. I like that she often combines Rikki with her work, its the perfect combination of healing techniques for body, mind, and spirit. Her hands are strong, sure, reassuring, and soothing, a perfect combination. She gives a great massage, and is a blessing in my busy life.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm always taking classes as I love to learn new natural healing modalities!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started as a manicurist in 1981. Clients would book with me when they couldn't get an appt with their chiropractor. Nail clients kept complimenting me that the arm or foot/leg massage was wonderful, you should be a massage therapist. So I became a certified massage therapist in 1987. I enjoy helping others feel better, like learning new healing modalities and massage techniques. Feel blessed that I was nudged into the massage profession.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask them to describe the service you're asking for as that can be different from practioner to practioner. Massage training varies from school to school also from practioner to practioner.
