Pet & House Sitter

Greetings! Are you in need of a pet sitter or house sitter? The pets I service are cats, dogs, reptiles, rabbits, birds and fish.

I do everything from feeding them daily, leaving fresh water everyday, cleaning excrement (includes litter boxes and picking it up on daily walks with dogs), bathing and grooming (if necessary), administering medication, insulin shots, walking (dogs only: hiking or park), play-time activities, helping with obedience (with food reinforcement), and lots of attention and petting!

You would provide all necessary food or medications for the animal. We would have to discuss the food arrangement for all reptiles.

Along with taking care of your beloved pet, I would additionally help with your housing needs. House services offered are taking out the trash and recyclables, watering plants, mail, light house cleaning, laundry, etc.

My rates are as follows:

* dog walking costs $10-$30 per day, per dog, depending on quantity and the size of the dog(s)
* house sitting costs $30-$40 per day, including holidays

I strive to do the best job possible, with safety and a conscientious attitude! I started out pet sitting for friends of mine in Berkeley, and have expanded. I only come to your home and take care of your pet or house needs.

Although my time is flexible, I require at least a 5-day notice for cancellation. Thank you for taking the time to read!

  Anika has been pet sitting for us for 10 years. She gets along fabulously with our very difficult cat (our cat generally doesn't get along with anyone but my husband and myself, but he loves Anika). She has always been available to pet sit, whether it is for a night or several weeks at a time. She's very flexible and has house sat for us over the holidays. She is concientious, will keep in touch and let us know how our cat is doing, and has even managed to get him to take pills when necessary. She also looks after the house. She's reliable, trustworthy, clean and is a positive person. We now consider her family. I cannot give her a higher recommendation!

  Anika is a beautiful, superb person that looks after my pets overnight when I travel. I have 2 small dogs and 2 large cats. She is great to all of them and keeps them in line. Plus I have an older dog that needs special care and meds that Anika is happy to give with love. At a drop of a hat, she is there for me and my babies to give love. Anika has a great heart and she is very professional AND at a great rate. Her thoughtfulness and caring has made me less stressed because I know that she is taking great care of my pets. She gives me updates every now and again to make me more at ease too. She really is the best! I could not do my job without her, really!
  Anika is very trustworthy and honest. She is clean and my pets love her (they told me). She has even taken out my trash before. She is definitely worth the call. And her phone references are impeccable.
