50% OFF Modeling Zed/Comp Cards Including photo session (MUA/Hair not included) – Oct 04, 2011 at 8:31 am
I am an east bay photographer located in Emeryville, CA. I specialize in portraiture, fashion, beauty, editorial and commercial photography. With a simplistic approach in lighting and a straightforward style in photography, I can capture what you need for your family, business, or modeling portfolio.
I am a studio photographer, as such I bring my "whole" studio to your location. I combine artificial lighting with natural lighting to create a unique approach to portraiture. I also provide pet photography to the pet lovers out there (which I am one) and will donate a part of your payment to rescue organizations and the humane society.
I also provide family, individual or group portrait packages and will drive to your location. I have two (2) options for image delivery in which 99% of it is digital image delivery or the lesser, more traditional print image delivery. The digital image delivery is the most economical and fastest way of receiving your images, and you can also have it printed by yourself at your own convenience.
When you choose the digital image delivery method, you will receive a high-resolution image from an online download site, the images that you download are fit for printing and have been retouched, color corrected and proofed. It usually takes 24-48 hours (after proofing) to receive your images ready for printing.
If you have any questions or want some more clarification on how my delivery process or what other services I offer, please feel free and contact me anytime.
For print package questions or rates, please contact me via email.
Thank you!
A. Most common types of jobs are Head-Shots, Modeling Portfolio. Some Family Portraits here and there but not a lot. I worked with models both locally and out of state and have been providing an affordable way for beginner models who are not in an agency with the necessary tools to get their foot in the industry.
A. Please look at my work first before deciding if you want to hire me or not. I have a particular way of shooting and editing my images and I usually stick to that style. I don't deviate from it unless a customer specifically asks for a different kind of editing.
For portraiture, especially for Head-Shots, I like an uncluttered background. For Family Portraits I would prefer to shoot outdoors out on nature. That holds true for Pet Portraits as well. Whichever the case may be, I still stick to the style of editing and processing that I'm used to. Not everyone will like it so, please make sure to look at my samples first before deciding.
A. I believe that my work shows a more cleaner, simpler and non-destructive (photoshop) way of presenting the subject in it's entirety. I don't like to add fake backgrounds and I do stick to the traditional styles of photography.
A. Human interaction....I like to interact and talk to people, listen to their stories as well as their life. I love the fact that I meet different types of people, culture, personality etc. At the same time to capture it in a second that immortalize them.
A. Most customers ask me about what kind of equipment I use. Which to my surprise has been happening a lot lately. I always answer them that I use the best equipment there is that I can afford to purchase. Ultimately it comes down to the person behind the camera. An expensive camera does not make good pictures and I hope that people would see past that and look for the quality of work when choosing a photographer.
If need be, I do provide the customers the info they need if they want to know what equipment I use. For the most part I use a Mamiya 645AFDII Medium Format camera for my Fashion work, it's equipped with a Leaf Aptus II Digital Back and a Canon 5D as a back up.
A. I don't really have one, I'm on the lookout though!
