I have been treated by Tassy for many years. After over a year of many types of physical therapy and topical treatment for a severe tennis elbow, I was fortunate to find Tassy. Using her acupuncture as well as massage and other "little gadgets" the chronic and almost crippling condition subsided. Not being familiar with acupuncture before, I wondered why it hurt in the opposite knee during therapy when she was working on my elbow. An avid tennis player, I was told I would never play again but thanks to Tassy's wonderful plan, I was back out on the courts in several months. While working on my elbow, Tassy started helping other "sore" spots in my body. Having been in four rear end collisons my neck sustained whiplash each time leaving my cervical vertebraes riddled with arthritis, as well as, stubborn spasms in my neck and shoulder muscles. Tassy has the most amazing hands. Her hands warm up like a wonderful heating pad and her touch is firm but soothing. I told her I was willing to put up with all the needles as long as she stretched and massaged all my muscles at the end of our time together. Oh my goodness, what a treat that was. Did not want her to stop. Tassy is a wonderful therapist. It's a sheer joy and privelege to be her patient. You will find her to be a sweet, kind and tenderhearted person which makes her the perfect clinician for all your needs.

Hello world- What can I say Tassy Hennessy is phenomenal! Tassy is a modern day medicine woman with 14 years of college experience under her belt. Taking great pride in her level of knowledge and service she is able to convey normally difficult medical terms and relay them into more graspable palpable understandable terms. You will leave the appointment feeling comfortable and knowledgeable about your specific issues and concerns. I would honestly say that the wealth of information and immense research that Tassy gives each patient is alone worth her fees - but lets keep that between one another. Constantly she is researching the latest in Eastern medicine and searching out new remedies and therapies to pass on to each of her clients. There are a variety of treatments offered from cold laser therapy to massage and of course acupuncture combined with herbs - topical and oral forms. The symptoms for the above treatments, all of which I have personally experienced, can vary from acne to migraines, swollen ankles or to the more extreme such as partial paralyzation of limbs and diabetes. Upon your initial appointment there is a full history and thorough exam which can take up to 2 hours, this is to ensure proper diagnosis and treatment. The level of service and care is unparalleled to any other physician, doctor, or specialist I have every seen in my life. Her approach to looking at the body as a "whole unit" and not just the lesser of the parts is essential when trying to fix systems (digestive) that rely on one another. From seeing Tassy on a semi regular basis I have gotten my health back, she has aided me in long term weight management, skin - acne issues, menstrual issues and overall health care throughout a pregnancy did I mention that she also specializes in fertility problems. From taking my blood work and requesting certain panels and tests be ordered she was able to read, translate and find what was going on inside me, things that a doctor charging triple the amount was unable to achieve in their 40 minute time slot. I feel that visiting Tassy is beyond worth - monetarily and for the sake of your health. Please do yourself a favor and schedule the visit!! Jessica Panoutsopoulos 28 year old married female...

I have been treated with Acupuncture, Herbology & Chinese Physical Therapy once a month for the past 8 years now and truly believe it has change my well being. Then I come out of the 1 1/2hr session, I feel like I have taken a mini 8hr nap. It's like you have been plug in to the recharge unit. I have been sick about 5 times out of the 8 years of treatment. I highly suggested giving it a try to see how your well being could change for you. You also couldn't ask for a better Specialist to treat you for your aliments. What are you waiting for go out and make an appointment already.

FAQs

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Tassy Hennessy, L.Ac., MSTOM, Dip. POM, B.S.Biology, B.S.Neurobiopsch., brings a diverse knowledge to her practice that involves a long history in the Western healthcare system as well as a blending of Eastern healthcare teachings. This diversity is coupled with an ongoing desire for continuing education to gain the latest healthcare knowledge, which creates a holistic way of diagnosing, treating, and educating patients. The beauty of this integration provides an environment where patients can obtain an understanding of their health condition, regain control of their wellbeing by becoming a proactive participant, and obtain the most well-rounded care from the two health care systems. From Ms. Hennessy’s very first biology class in high school, she knew that discovering “How it all worked, from the smallest pieces to the whole body.”, was her passion, curiosity, and joy which became a life time of inquiry. While attending school, Ms. Hennessy worked as an EMT on a 911 response ambulance in Monterey. Moving to San Diego to study Biology and Neurobiopsychology at UCSD, she worked at Scripps La Jolla/Trauma Center in the Emergency and X-Ray Departments, then at UCSD Medical Center in the Hyperbaric Department, going inside the 14 person chamber, attending to patients during their treatments. After her double Bachelors at UCSD, Tassy started a Wellness business while at PCOM then went on to receive her Masters degree, MSTOM, from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Acupuncture, Herbology and Chinese Physical Therapy. During the years at UCSD and with the hospitals, Tassy also volunteered for 7 years with the San Diego Mountain Rescue Team, which responds with the San Diego Sheriffs Dept. to emergencies in cities as well as in wilderness and mountainous areas of San Diego County and beyond. After graduating from PCOM, and receiving her Acupuncture Board Licensure, Tassy continued her studies and received her Diplomat degree and board certification with the American Academy of Physical Oriental Medicine, AAPOM. Ms. Hennessy currently continues her education in the fields of Endocrinology, Neurotransmitter Biology, Immunology and Laser Therapy. Among other things, Tassy has a wide variety of extracurricular interests that involve many outdoor activities like running, surfing, hiking, rock climbing, swimming, scuba diving, horseback riding and tennis, but has never turned down the opportunity to play any sport, given the time; ice hockey's next on the list. She loves going home to Monterey to visit with her awesome family, looks forward to seeing new places and is interested in meeting a variety of new people, especially when it involves a travel destination anywhere close to the equator. She adds a bit of freedom, excitement and fun to her life by sportbike riding, particiating in shooting competitions and cooking great meals with friends. She also enjoys broadening her knowledge by attending medical, oceanographic and environmental lectures and seminars all over California. If you’re looking to improve your health and wellbeing, please call for your appointment today and experience a different level of health.
