Introduction: June 2021 Dog Boarding Update: I am currently only able to board dogs under 30 pounds as my larger size dog spots are taken up. I apologize as I love all sizes but can only accommodate a few larger dogs at a time. Now on with my story…
I treat any pet under my care the same as I would my own. They become a part of the family. They help me with doing the dishes, sweeping the floor, watering plants and posting their picture on our Purfect Friends Facebook page or Instagram. When it comes to sleeping at night, I mimic what they are used to at home. If they love sleeping in their crate, that’s where they sleep. If they always sleep with their owners then they come jump in bed with me and any other owner sleeping dogs I might have.
I like to send videos and pictures on a regular basis to the owners so they can see the fun we’re having and how good they are helping with chores! Sometimes I worry that I send too many photos but they’re all just so darn cute that I can’t help it!
I have a backyard that was designed with dogs in mind. My downstairs and finished off garage (complete w outdoor carpeting) become one big play arena for them as well.
As an added bonus, I am a Virtual Assistant for a dog training company. I often say I am not a trainer; I am just trained by them. So, tips and tricks are shared with the owners or if requested, I can hook an owner up with one of our wonderful trainers.
I think it’s obvious I am overjoyed that I found this profession and every day brings new rewards.... and treats. “Did someone say treats?!!”

Colean contacted me and was extremely easy to communicate, arrange and meet-up to see if our pets were the right fit. She has a very well organized and clean and loving environment for pets! My worries disappeared after speaking and then meeting with her. We now know our pets are so well taken care of! The pictures/videos were an added touch! Highly recommend her!

Ziggy had a great experience during his weekend stay with Colean! She sent us the most adorable pics and videos of Ziggy and his new friends while we were out of town. Colean treated Ziggy like one of her own dogs and we wouldn’t hesitate to reach out to her again for future boarding needs.

Colean with Purfect friends has been so wonderful for me and my dog Joey - I can't recommend her strongly enough. I have a 1.5 year old pup - Joey that I got during Covid times. I have since found out that the entire litter has some anxiety and fears then add in Covid and not having him around people and not having people in the house has really impacted him. I hired Colean to help get Joey more comfortable with people by having a dog walker come over and interact with him.
Colean has been amazing because she is so confident around dogs and did not show any fear or concern when he barked at her the first several visits. She was patient and let Joey figure out that she was here to visit him, give him treats and take him out. It took several visits but he continued to get more and more comfortable. Colean was also very understanding with me being a hovering mom who was nervous about how Joey would react. While she is not a trainer she has a strong knowledge base, has worked closely with trainers and so many dogs that I immediately felt very comfortable with her as did Joey.
While my pup is still getting comfortable and continues to need work I value and fully trust Colean. Joey recently had is first day visit to Colean's house and it went really well. I am excited to see this continue with full overnight boarding. I am very happy that I found Colean and again recommend her for anyone needing pet sitting.

After losing my regular dog sitter I had to find a new sitter quickly. After meeting Colean I felt in good hands. She made me feel comfortable that my boy was going to be well cared for, safe and loved. She’s professional and knowledgeable and answered my questions. Daily videos and photos helped in staying connected while I was away.
Communication is excellent too.

Purfect Friends Is a fantastic resource! Colean provides a wonderful place for my fur baby to spend the day and board if needed. My dog Maggie is really shy at first and she worked with her to be comfortable and send me pictures to let me know how well she is doing. She and her team are kind and supportive. Her home and daycare area are immaculate and beautifully done. Colean is a gem!
