  I have lived in my house for 17 years, and the age of my house was clearly evidenced by my horrific tract-home kitchen. In looking to remodel, I contacted several contractors, and Josh promptly responded. I had several contractors over to my house to look at the space. Josh was the only one to actually HEAR what I was saying about the inefficiencies of my kitchen, and my ideas of creating more counter space. The other contractors simply wanted to “remove and replace” the cabinets and counter top that I had. Josh took careful time to assess the space, considered my thoughts, and provided his professional opinion. I agreed with him, and he said he would provide me with some drawings.
  
  I was stunned when I saw what my kitchen could look like. Of course, because he is a craftsman and not just a contractor installing pre-made cabinets, there was the issue of cost. Josh understood my concerns, the financial situation, and my budget and, again, provided a solution. (In hindsight, though, when looking at what I now have compared to what I might have had, the difference in bids was really apples to oranges.)
  
  I also want to mention that because the other contractors were going to use pre-made cabinets, I was told that I would have these “filler-type” areas (not sure of the correct term) where the space that did not perfectly fit with a pre-made cabinet would be un-utilized but covered. I can gleefully state that there is not an OUNCE of unused space in any of my cabinetry. Josh (and partner Mike) created special usable areas in my kitchen that make me smile every time I have to open them!
  
  Once the cabinets were built and ready for color, an issue arose with the availability of the individual Josh works with who specializes in this area. Not wanting to disappoint, Josh immediately engaged the services of another “finish” professional, and my cabinets got their finish, as promised. With respect to color, I did not want a “canned” type of color, and Josh told me to provide him with the color I wanted, and he would match it – I provided my color and it was matched!
  
  The installation by Josh and Mike was quick and professional; they even coordinated the installation around another contractor who was installing my granite counter, understanding that everyone had an objective and a timeframe.
  
  The whole experience was an absolute pleasure, and the result was beyond my expectation. The cabinets are the work of professional craftsmen, not contractors. The quality cannot be compared to pre-made cabinets. My daughter-in-law commented my kitchen “looks like something out of a magazine.” To me, that is the ultimate compliment!
  
  I would encourage anyone looking to remodel/upgrade their kitchen with pre-made cabinets to give Josh the opportunity to assess your situation; you will be pleasantly surprised!   Josh (and business partner Mike) are fabulous cabinetmakers. They've just completed a bathroom vanity and tower to match shaker cabinets in the kitchen and other bath (and they were installed 5 years ago). They are professionals at their craft, wonderful to work with, accommodating and suggested things to consider which greatly enhanced the project. Well done - I'd hire again in a minute!

  We just had a kitchen built and there are not enough words to describe my joy. The quality is amazing and the kitchen has just turned out beautifully. We have some other projects coming up and we of course will be using Top to Bottom Woodworks.
