Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. Each staging is carefully done with artistic flair to showcase the architectural structure of the home. Furnishings and artwork are carefully selected for each home's unique design.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I love the reaction of the realtors and homeowners when they see the tranformation of their home.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. Is it best to have the house painted in white for mass appeal? Generally, no. White does not show well on the MLS and is not inviting. Most homes show best in subdued earth toned colors with contrasting trim. White does work well with dark brown wood trim in Old World style design.
Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?
A. I believe I owe it to my clients to keep abreast of the latest design products and furnishings. I attend the World Trade Center in Las Vegas to see first hand, the latest in furniture design. I also recently attended the NeoCon in Chicago which showcases the latest state of the art design finishings. Be on the lookout for LED lighing in just about everything! And really funky artistic looking chairs.
