FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially I focus on connecting with my customer. I listen to what he or she needs and if something is not clear I can create dialog for transparency and understanding. Next, I aim to establish rapport and build connections. I think vibes, integrity, good pricing and communication are key. I learned long ago that people do business with people they like and trust. I've learned that trust is not given, it's earned. I listen to what a customers needs and whats most important to the customer. I listen to what a customers needs and/or wants and I get it done. Great relationships are established by being upfront, fair and honest. My process and goal is for people to know & feel like they made the right decision. People may not always remember what you have done for them but they will always remember how you made them feel. I have been a customer and I know what it is like. I run a kara based business. I do good so that good continues happen.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up in a family of handymen. We have done everything from patching and painting walls and ceilings, to changing sinks, faucet, shower heads, and unclogging drains, to fixing cabinets and changing garbage disposals. I've repaired and replaced fences, pulled rugs and base boards, and replaced with laminate flooring. I switched out ceiling fans, florescent light(s), sockets, and switches.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have work primarily with residential customers from all walks of life. It is in my experience that no two customers are the same. I have work with a multitude of different personalities (types A, B, & C), attitudes, perspectives, opinions, the organized and unorthodox. I have worked with those who are humorous and sarcastic and those who are not. From the customer who follows you around to those you don't see until the job is done. The one thing they have all have in common is that I don't leave the job site until the job is done currect and the customer is satisfied with my work.
