- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is as follows: Private lessons ~ $90 for month of 30 minute lessons ~ $130 for month of 45 minute lessons (Quote includes time in my computer lab, which I use to reinforce musical concepts. It does not include the price of materials.)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I often attend a seminar or two in the summer; read pedagogy materials; and do online research for new ideas and methods.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I became a student-teacher for my piano teacher's studio when I was in high school because she had a long waiting list of beginner students. I decided that I really enjoyed my work, and so have been teaching ever since (15 years).
