Introduction: I have extensive training, not only as a life coach, but as a spiritual director as well. My listening and discernment skills are very well honed and people find it easy to trust me. I have had a lot of challenging life experiences as well and have come out the other side with wisdom, compassion and strength. I am able and willing to go as deep into the inner chambers of building awareness of and overcoming the false beliefs that hold people back as they are ready to delve into. Because of that, the changes that people make during their work with me are not simply lifestyle changes, but true transformation from the inside out. Seeing people empowered to change their lives. Watching clients find strength, wisdom, and compassion for themselves and rise above their mediocre lifestyles to fulfill their life purpose. Helping people become aware of unconscious beliefs that have been holding them back and become free of them to go on to create incredible life changes. Hearing "I've never thought of it that way, but that makes so much sense!" Seeing someone light up with a new understanding of why they've always done something a certain way and decide they want to do it differently now, and then doing it. Providing a safe and encouraging environment for individuals and groups to get real honest with themselves and then choose to reach higher and go further up and further in.

When I finally found my passion and began my business I was truly excited but overwhelmed. I was starting a new chapter in my life and didn't know where to begin. I was stepping in to new territory. I know what my goals are but needed guidance on how to reach them. Finding Misa was a gift from God and every session I am inspired to do more and more. She makes it easy, one step at a time. She has transformed my public speaking ability and inspires me to be a great business woman. I relate to her and that's am amazing thing. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Constantly. I am always reading books, researching on the internet and going to workshops and conferences. I also have a fantastic network of other like-minded professionals who share their work and resources with me. I research each week for the topic of my radio show, Beyond Abuse Radio, as well as learning a tremendous amount from the many gifted guests I host. The day I stop learning is the day I will begin to die. I believe that everyone has a story to tell and something to teach me, including every client I work with. I don't have the answers, but I spend every day learning more. I think that it is more important to know what questions to ask than what the "right" answers are.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have overcome severe childhood abuse to thrive as an adult. After spending 2 decades doing a whole lot of my own healing work and finished homeschooling my two darlin' daughters, I decided to go back to school and train to help others to have the thriving lives that are deeply hidden within them. I see so many people who get stuck in the pain or bitterness from the bad things that have happened to them and it breaks my heart. There is SO much hope for healing and leaving the victim mentality behind. I want to help others to move beyond surviving into their new inheritance of love and joy.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have helped people to achieve their goals to develop healthier relationships, find healing from many types of trauma, overcome their fears of public speaking, and deepen their relationships with God. People seek out my services for support in parenting and homeschooling as well. I also work with people starting new businesses, branding, and discerning career/educational paths. In the past 7 years of coaching I have worked with many types of people in many different situations. The most important factor is that my clients are motivated and willing to do the work to make the life changes they desire to live out.
