- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing-- Individual Workshop $50 (Single Session-- 1 hour) Event Makeup Application $55 Bridal Makeup $95 Bridal Makeup Trial $35 I do travel to the client, however if outside of a 20 mile radius of 92505 an additional travel fee of $20 will be added to the service price quote. - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do attend professional seminars and workshops on the latest techniques whenever possible, and I believe in staying current with trends for those clients that are looking for those services.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love playing with different products, but more importantly I realized quickly that many people in makeup industry don't have experience working with minority women and women of color. I hated sitting in a chair at a department store while the foundation they chose for me was somehow grey or pink, or simply 3 times darker than my actual skin color. I decided that I wanted to learn as much as I could to prevent that from happening with anyone I could work with!
