A.C.I. offers group and private classes year round, plus there are “no” waiting lists for training. All classes are continuous entry which, means you and your dog can start training at your earliest convenience, at any of our training locations.
Group classes are limited to 10 teams plus the trainer. Private lessons are offered in home, or at a designated location throughout the Silicon Valley area. Typically, private lessons are limited to a dog and handler and a trainer, but will accommodate multiple family members in the training. Lessons are 1 hour each week for 8 weeks.
We offer:
* puppy classes
* obedience and agility classes
* behavioral modification
* home/personal protection
We train them all, big and small.
A. Just like building a house, you need a solid foundation. Basic obedience is the most common type of dog training but I always have to train the owner more than the dog.
A. When contacting a dog trainer get to know the trainer's philosophy and approach to training dogs.
The owner has as more responsibility of training the dog as the trainer has.
A. Teaching and witnessing the creation of a unique bond and relationship between the dog and owner where both change their behavior in order to obtain harmony.
A. Wow, my dog's behavior is great, I never thought we would get results in such a short time, how much do you charge to train my children?
A. I took a dog training class and got hooked. I asked a master trainer if I could work with him and started training dogs in 1989. After working in the technology sector for over 38 years, I had enough! I was offered an early retirement package from HP an I took it. I wasn't ready to retire, I wanted to do something more with my life so I took a passion and turned it into a business.
